(Swaffaath) 37 : 2
فَالزَّاجِرَاتِ زَجْرًا
Then those who shake as it should be shook.
Here, the Angels mentioned are those who execute punishment. As explained in verses 96: 9-18, when the Messenger Muhammad was prostrating near the Ka’ba, a leader of the Meccan pagans named Abu Jahl tried to throw a big stone over the Messenger’s head. Allah prevented Abu Jahl from his mission by sending Zabaniyah—Angels of punishment. See explanation 8: 12-13; 15: 57-58.
